What the Confederation publishes

Published material is collected under publications. Four documents stand there at present:

• Interior spending over €500: June 2026 — transparency, dataset, 6 July 2026
• Citizenship statistics: Q2 2026 — statistics, dataset, 2 July 2026
• Shared Spaces Code of Conduct — guidance, PDF, 12 June 2026
• The Constitution of Mahuset (consolidated text) — guidance, PDF, 15 January 2026

Each carries the date it was issued.

Why the Confederation publishes

Mahuset has no bureaucracy to fall back on. Its elections, its accounts, its law and its foreign policy are conducted by the people who turn up, and it depends on the people who choose to take part in it.

Publication is not the only check. The Censorate is a branch of government in its own right, and its business is the other branches: it investigates, supervises and audits, part public-spending watchdog and part political ombudsman.

Law and official texts

The Confederation passes law and publishes it. Legislative power rests with the Lazian Chamber, which no other body outranks. Official texts, treaty texts among them, appear under publications. The consolidated text of the Constitution of Mahuset was published there on 15 January 2026.

Spending and accounts

Public accounts are kept in the Confederation's own currency, the Mahusetan guilder, written with the florin sign ƒ and issued by the Lazian Bank. The overview describes it.

Spending is published as data. The dataset Interior spending over €500: June 2026 was published on 6 July 2026 and covers that month. Whether further months will follow on a fixed pattern has not been settled.

Statistics and guidance

Citizenship statistics: Q2 2026, published on 2 July 2026, gives figures for the second quarter of the year. Citizenship is administered by the Ministry of Immigration and Alien Affairs, and the routes and the application form are described under citizenship.

The Shared Spaces Code of Conduct was issued on 12 June 2026 and is classed as guidance. Two announcements covering the same ground appear under news: a new online form for reporting issues on shared land, of 2 July 2026, and how to book a community space for a public event, of 18 June 2026.

Asking for something that is not published

The Confederation has not set out a formal procedure for requesting information. If what you are looking for is not under publications, ask the body that holds it.

Every organisation has a page in the government directory, which lists 59 of them: ministries, agencies, public bodies, legislatures and the governments of the constituent entities. Each page carries an email address and opening hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Write to the body whose work your request concerns.

Because there is no set procedure, there is no fixed timescale either, so say plainly what you are asking for and why.
